Scuba Diving adds that little bit of extra excitement to any holiday. There is nothing like the thrill of strapping on that tank, and hitting the water, and the silence of your breathing being the only sound in your ears. Wherever you are going, let us help you with some dive arrangements. Our extensive travel and dive network is able to assist you almost anywhere in the world.

Africa Diver is based in Gansbaai, South Africa, and our diving holidays are generally based in and around the southern tip of Africa.

Dive Holiday Mozambique
Mozambique offers one of the cheapest and most brilliant scuba diving holidays in the world. The waters are warm and the amount of fish and coral is breathtaking. Reefs stretch for miles and there will be few opportunities to find dive sites that compete elsewhere in the world.

Scuba Diving Tours
Have a look at some of our established scuba diving tours opposite; but should you want to create your own scuba dive adventure then please let us know, and let us help! If you are into free diving we can also assist.

Most of the scuba tours opposite are aimed at a ten to twenty day duration, however, we are very happy to put together a tour that will satisfy not only your time requirements but also family members and non divers!

Dive tours are arranged and conducted by Adam Cruise. Adam ran the Dive Shop in Sandton City for almost 10 years, and has years of experience in what divers want and the standards that need to be upheld. Adam has also been involved as a part time film-maker for National Geographic over the past few years, with a keen eye for the special and the unusual.

Africa Diver offers specialty tours such as Manta Ray tours, Wreck Dive Tours, Shark tours and a host of other unusual tours. Then again, with the beauty of Cape Town's hidden treasures, there are so many divers who wish to simply explore the wealth of kelp forests and other natural phenomena that there is more than enough variety for even the most hardened diver.

We can also arrange some great white shark diving in Gansbaai Cape Town, in or out of a cage and also if you would like to do a shark or fish dive in the Cape Town aquarium we will be happy to arrange it for you.

Tanzania is synonymous with wildebeest migration, savanna plains, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar. But very few realize that there is more to Tanzania, much more. Especially if you are a scuba diver.

AFRICA DIVER has discovered a real gem of an island to the south of the country with the ominous name of Mafia Island. But Mafia Island has no connection with the cotton-wool jawed hoodlums of Sicily, instead Mafia Island is a tropical paradise with a history steeped ancient Arabic seafarers and slavers, successive Portuguese, German and British colonial rule - reminders are still evident in the numerous Dhows and old ruins now overrun by Mangroves. But it's beneath the surface that really makes Mafia Island and it will blow all six senses right out of the water!

Mafia is so unspoilt (its a marine reserve preserved by law) that its Zanzibar a hundred years ago - before civilization, before technology and widespread commercial overfishing with dynamite. The coral reefs and walls are pristine and the supported marine life is exceptional. Big Potato Bass, sharks, turtles, and massive Moray Eels abound in warm cobalt-blue water.

The dive sites are accessed from a traditional Dhow which make for a novel experience and adds to the entire atmosphere. The accommodation and food is superb, and all this on a quint-essential tropical island in the warm Indian Ocean, surrounded by palm trees and cool sea breezes.
Sounds too good to be true, but it was and we had to keep reminding ourselves that this was not a dream!
