CAREER PATH TO INSTRUCTOR

The following is the suggested
path to PADI Instructor
- Discover Scuba for absolute
beginners who are not sure if they will enjoy diving.
- Or start with PADI Open
Water if you know this is what you would like to do.
- PADI Advanced is the next
step. keep in mind that from stage to stage there may be a
minimum number of dives required before you can qualify for
the next level.
- Speciality dives such as
rescue diver etc. You need to have a certain number of these
specialty courses before you can achieve dive master.
- Dive Master. There is a
fair amount of time between advanced diver and Dive Master.
Advanced diver is a good level for casual divers who are not
looking to make a career in diving, whereas dive master is
the first level for a career in diving instruction.
- Scuba Dive
Instructor. before you can attain this level you will need
to have logged around 100 dives and will have spent some
time as dive master.
